+1 second... That's it. Was set to atomic time the day I received it, haven't unscrewed the crown since. Very impressed with the performance so far. Has anyone else had this kind of accuracy or am I just lucky?

I'd say you're lucky. Mine took two months to stay at +1/day. Congrats.

Sounds like you are a little bit lucky. There are many that achieve that accuracy if they had some time being regulated correctly.

Yep. These new Subs are ridiculous. I've seen a few running within -1/+1 per month. Pretty amazing!

That's great, but it's lucky. Even an off the shelf ETA movement is capable of very good results with a regulation.

My 17 year old Exp II runs -2 per day. Maybe I should call it the Explorer -II?

I'm 31 days in on a 116610LN and it's running a very consistent +2 seconds a day, which I am totally fine with.

You are lucky I guess since they are so many factors such as the way you move your arm every day to could influence its accuracy.

yeah my 114060 is +2 about a day, 2 weeks old, actually I take that back, havent reset in about a week and it is at +3 seconds

Yeah you're lucky. My last one (116610ln, which was sent in for a foreign object in the sapphire crystal) was about that accurate. I had to send it back for an exchange and my new one is now at +2 seconds a day. That's still great when you consider it's a tiny mechanical machine on your wrist, but I like how crazy accurate my last one was.

I am always wearing it when I'm either not sleeping or not at work. When it's not on it is usually laying face up. That's really about it, don't feel as I'm doing anything out of the ordinary.

It is strangely obsessive I find!
My 2009 GMT IIc was serviced December 2016 and I timed it using watch tracker app. It varied from day to day but for 42 days averaged +1.3 secs per day. Now I don't know what changed at day 43, but thereafter it was faster. I am on a new timing run and am already averaging +3 secs per day with a peak of +3.9 on one day. These things are amazing really so those of you at +1 are just superb watches.
However I would love to know what has changed for mine to be faster now. Pmsl.
I've got that watch timing disease!

My SubC Date - close to you at 24 days in, is -1.8. Very happy with this. Not as close at +1. But close :) Cheers and congrats.

I keep track of my BLNR for interest sake. It loses .5 seconds for a while then gains a bit. It changes a bit every day depending on what I'm up to. Over the last 2.5 months it has gained 3.3 seconds which is impressive. At one point it had lost 8 seconds but has caught back up. It's interesting to track it but I don't think much about it. Love the watch and keeps great time. Good for you on yours!

Yeah, I'd imagine you'd fine that it would change by simply changing your lifestyle, like wearing it to work.

Oddly enough, even after regulation, I find that most of my mechanicals run a couple of seconds slow, so I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing day to day to make that so consistent, even across different brands.

Just dumb luck, I'd imagine.

I have a BLNR just back from service for a crystal replacement and accuracy calibration. after 14 days crystal is great. Accuracy, not so much. Its 53 second after 14 days. Grant it, its with in COSC but im disappointed considering it has the same movement as as the ones Rolex is advertising at +2/-2 day. Even more disappointed considering my 12 old GMT runs consistently +.3 a day.
