My first Rolex...
...has been with me 15 years now. Bought it new. Haven't worn it in a bit, so I decided to give it some long overdue "wrist time". It's my preferred watch for travel, naturally enough. However, it's a great "all arounder".
I've been fortunate to own a number of fine watches, but none better or more useful than this one...this GMT Master II, now nearing "vintage" status, remains a favorite. Hey Lew, where have you been? Hope all is well! I love the Black/Red 16710, classic!
I still have my first Rolex as well, a 14060 that I bought back in 2000. It is also my go-to travel watch, but for no reason other than that is has been around the world with me several times over the past 17 years and I love to have it as a travel companion.

Very nice GMT, I have the same model (with the 3186 movement).
I like the look and the wrist feel on this model. At the same time, it is extremely reliable, versatile and accurate. The GMT has to be my favorite watch when travelling
