I didn't realize the lugs look like ramps. Is that normal?

How about a couple side views

In the first pic, the crow-side lug definitely looks quite a bit thinner. What RSC did you use? I sent my old 16613 to Dallas and felt like they were a bit heavy-handed with the polishing wheel on one of my lugs as well.

I would not call that overpolished. just polished.

But I would not polish it again, that's for sure.

I think many people here (all fine WIS I'm sure) are a bit too overwrought on the whole polishing issue.

Although I did once have a Breitling serviced and they polished the back so severely that the serial number was nearly unreadable. That was at the BSC.

I'd say no. Looks polished but not crazy so. The overpolished fear is out of control on this forum.

There isn't much you can do if the folks here say your watch is over polished. Buy a new watch maybe?

Nobody but nobody can polish a Rolex like Rolex. After all, they make them.

You could tell by the lugs that the watch has been polished but not over polished....

Look great & enjoy your watch.......

Difficult to determine without a "before" picture to judge against; however, if that was the first polishing, then I would personally consider it a bit more polished than I would like.

depends on the age, its easier to say a newer watch is overpolished than a watch that has been serviced a few times!

Having not seen the "before" version of your watch, it's hard to say. What do you think?

That right lug is a hair thinner. Maybe they polished a bit into the brushed area and it just appears thinner but isn't? Great watch Sir! I don't see too many of the white dial/white day and date wheels like mine.

The watch looks great.

The RSC uses templates.. If your watch was "overpolished" they would tell you so and refuse to refinish it..
