Black Bay Black leather strap
Does anyone know if they will sell these by themselves for those that already purchased one on the bracelet?

As Adam says, yes they do. You can buy them with a deployment clasp or buckle, they are sold separately so make sure you specify what you want.

Man, I can't see getting it without the deployment but that's quite high for a leather strap. I'll probably bite the bullet though. Gave a call to my AD and they'll be contacting Tudor on Monday.

I'm in the UK, it was £200 the strap and £150 for the deployment clasp. Buckle was cheaper but can't remember what I was quoted, sorry.

$435 strap and deployant. Strap on its own is $240 if I recall correctly. You could always grab an aftermarket buckle for it. Tudor will sell them separately so you're not obligated to buy the deployant

You're making me think now Adam, I know I paid £350 for both, maybe you're right £50 either way. Checked the receipt and it doesn't split the cost.

I didn't buy one but I was quoted HK$1,800 and HK$1,200 at the Hong Kong RSC, and I'm fairly sure that was for clasp and leather respectively.

Check the used market. I've seen them for USD 250 or so (strap and deployment). I have one and it's super comfortable. It's worth some bucks.

"I skimmed sites to look for one used but didn't see one for the BB Black, only the red. I looked at aftermarket also but I can't find anything similar to the type of distressed leather that this one has."
Probably too new right now, perhaps in a few months. |

Are the leather straps for red and black different?

The red one has brown stitching, and it looks like the black one has black stitching. I believe the clasps are the same, though I haven't examined the BBB one up close. |

My AD said they haven't released one for the Black yet. They only have a PN for the Black/bracelet.

Edit: thought I could grab the photo on the website, but it comes up with the cloth one. Anyway, there is a photo of the distressed BBB strap there. |

Just found it on the site. IMO, they failed. Compared to the Red with distressed leather- this one does ZERO for me. Unless it looks much better in person- I do not foresee it coming home with me.

Yes, it looks a bit dull. I have one of the less distressed red ones and it really matches the warmth and feel of the watch.

I'm pretty sure someone had a Black on leather here the other day. Everyone was going on about how it was the first one on TRF.

The BB Black with the strap arrived at an online dealer on Thursday.

I ordered the leather strap and deployment clasp when I took delivery of my BBB. My AD contacted me several days later and said that it will ship once the BBB on leather is released. His time line for the leather was November. I look forward to receiving it.

Ok, here's the difference between the black and the red leather on the Tudor website. It's clearly just a photoshop job because the distressing is exactly the same on both, but I guess it illustrates the slight variation in colour.

I had my dealer order the black strap and Tudor deployant clasp when I bought my BBB, and it was $435 USD for both.

Thank you for confirming the price. And Adam thanks for the comparison shots. I can honestly see the strap for the red fitting the BBB even better than the original with the distressed white. Tough choice...

What's the best way to remove the bracelets to put on the NATO it comes with? I have the tweezers or needle plier tool to remove bracelets from my sub and GMT but don't see anyway to use that on this black Bay. What are you using?
