Is the Daytona 116500 readily available in Europe?

Is it possible to walk into an AD in parts of Europe and buy the Daytona 116500 right out of the case (on the spot)? I am on a couple of waitlists for the watch in the US but will be in Europe in a few months and wondering if there are countries/dealers where I can walk into a store and buy the watch.

An agent in uk told me that if you put a rolex daytona SS your waiting list will last about 15 years.

I was quoted 50 years at the Rolex boutique in the UK.

With "disappointing" Basel outcomes today more will fall back onto the ss Daytona c released in 2016 so it will only become harder and harder to get at least for another year.

You are correct. I've been away from the madness for a while. My love affair with my Apple Watch is over and I'm back to wearing my analog watches more frequently.

Sorry, but you will not find one at retail for quite some time. It is one of the hottest watches on the market. Personally, I don't think anything was released at Basel that will calm the demand for the SS Daytona. If you don't mind paying a premium, you can have one tomorrow. It's just a matter of how much you want to pay.

Unfortunately not. Good luck finding one anywhere in the world in a display case.
