They are listed here in for sale section BNIB by the big trusted sellers for 25,500 all day long. Even a few thousand less for LNIB. Please convince me why I should pay 30K, when I can save 5K and receive the same watch?
I just saved 10K from what I'd pay an AD in my state at full retail for BNIB black face version from a TRF TS with my name on warranty card. I'll patronize an AD (I have before) when it makes sense to do so--if they have something I cannot find elsewhere or their price is competitive/ attractive. 10K saved gets me that much closer to my next watch!

This is not to derail the thread as the OP has sourced a very magnificent watch.

Oh, and I got a 10 year warranty (5 from dealer after the 5 year Rolex), so with my cc that makes it a 20 year warranty. Also, I had mentioned to the AD that at one time I had waffled between the black and green dial, so the AD said he would order both, so that I could have a final compare before I purchased. I know I want the green now, but I thought that was excellent customer service.

Your location and the terms pretty much "out" this as a Mayor's purchase.
They are often beaten up here but my experience, at least in Boca, has been quite the opposite. Like you, I have been treated well and have been given very competitive discounts.

Congrats!

After all the Basel this and that I've forgotten what these look like, and I used to own one.

No harm in telling an AD that you can get a great price through the gray market. You'd rather buy from an AD but they need to make it worth your while. Ignore all the warranty won't transfer crap they'll tell you. Might as well go for some swag while you're at it.
