Date window slight cushion bevel
I was looking at my one and only newly aquired old school Seadweller and I couldn't stop looking at the very slight cushion edge bevel from the dial to the date. It is very mesmerizing to me. Who's with me?

I'm glad you brought this up, the finish to the 'cut out' of the window is one of the first tell tale signs of craftsmanship.
Under magnification, the corners and edges has to be mirror smooth, gradual and at the exact angle of slope, view from 360 degrees. There are other so call high end, high priced watches that I find imperfections in this area. It's like finding a loose thread on the headrest of a Rolls Royce.
