Look a bit further away in uk e.g. Midlands, S.West etc....you will eventually find one at list but you'll have to work for it.

And it's BLNR not BNLR

How far do you mean when you say abroad?

It was a rare find in the Minneapolis area but there are a few of them around in the Dubai area.

They are readily available in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. I got mine still in the shipping "coffin" in one day. Awesome watch. I saw the "hockey puck" watch (Deep Sea) in the AD a week ago. There were several SS Sub Date and Sub no date.

The two ADs I know are Mayors and Browns in Atlanta.

Come over, buy a watch, and tour the sights. Great steaks at Bones. Old steak house.

AD here in Jerusalem has had one for months. And Easyjet flies here nonstop for about 100 quid.

Makes for a very expensive watch as with exchange rate USA price is signicpficantly more. Add in VAT upon entering the UK plus flights etc and it's a crazy expensive BLNR.

So many threads come up on this and people in the USA think the easy option is for UK people to just get one from the USA but rarely is that a viable option.

Far better to put the work in and find one in the UK.

Try contacting non-AD, they usually have models ready to ship

Last time we were in Zurich (Oct 16), both Beyer and Bucherer got them. Beyer even had them on display, and had more than one unit. Good luck!

As Nairn says it will now cost you 15% more to buy in Euros so might as well buy from Iconic, WF etc then. Keep trying ADs here. And Switzerland is the worst, they are not in the EU so you have VAT to pay on top when coming home.

Why pay over list AND risk eBay???

Do a bit of leg work and get one from the safety of an AD for RRP. They are out there they just need a bit of work.

I think here in California I've seen a BLNR in every dealer window that I've visited. I'm thinking it's not a coincidence.

What's a coincidence? That USA supply and demand is completely different to here in the UK? Or that Cali ADs have BLNRs but not LVs?

The markets are SO completely different, it's almost pointless for people from USA to reply to these "UK availability" type threads with "every AD around here has them sitting in the window"

Not trying to be harsh but just seems so pointless given the markets being clearly night and day.

Sorry, I wasn't clear on the OP's definition of abroad....just thought he was talking about traveling outside his country.....I hear things are indeed very rough in the UK.

And also what I meant by "it's no coincidence" is that the BLNR is readily available here in the US from ADs or grey.

Totally fine and wasn't a dig at you, it's just these UK availability threads are popping up daily with UK members trying to source watches.

USA people reply "they're everywhere here" and "negotiate a discount, there's loads in the safe" even today "there's plenty in Jerusalem" or "come here, do some sightseeing and take a Rolex back to the UK with you"

The way the UK market is with exchange rates etc, our prices are way cheaper than can be sourced from USA etc. Also when bringing them in we get stung for VAT.....we can get these watches ourselves on the UK gray market but for above RRP. Even this option would be cheaper than getting from the USA and paying VAT.

I know people make these comments Ignorant of the UK market but surely TRF members are starting to see these threads now as this UK situation is discussed daily on here.
