Just received my "GOODS" from Luxury Time for Less
I searched everywhere for a review on Luxury Time For Less because they had the latest Tag Heuer Aquaracer (WAJ2112.BA0870) that I wanted. Being a new model, I could not find that Tag for under $1900 anywhere else. The LTFL site did not list prices, but I thought "what the heck" and sent an inquiry using the hyperlink provided on the product details page.
Rich (the owner) was quick to reply the next day. His price was competitive with the other sites. Although, I was actually about to buy the same watch later that day at a local authorized dealer who was willing to match the online prices. I went ahead and replied to Rich's email and asked him for a much lower price than the other online dealers, thinking if he could come to the right number, I would seriously consider. Well, his price was very close, yet he dealt with the entire situation with such impeccable customer service and professionalism, that I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. Rich catered to my every concern and went out of his way to make sure I was fully comfortable with everything before even allowing me to complete a payment to his company. Even though I was ready to purchase after going back and forth with him on emails that day, he still asked me to wait and let him send me photos, just to give me additional peace of mind. I was already pretty comfortable to begin with because doing a quick Google search on his company shows that he has been around for a few years, and he has recommendations from other established businesses in his city. There is also a nice article on him from an apparently unbiased and unrelated "online magazine" type of site. Furthermore, he has a 100% positive feedback rating on eBay and appears to have been selling on there for a while too. Plus, I knew I was protected because I was completing the payment via PayPal using my credit card. Nevertheless, him asking me to wait for him to send me the photos, even though I was ready to complete a payment to him at the time, was very impressive. I was so impressed with Rich's level of service, that I actually ended up buying two watches from him, the Tag and a Movado. The deal was too good to be true so I couldn't resist! The watches arrived within 2 days, and these are the real deal! I even received the warranty card from the authorized dealer. Folks, if you appreciate dealing with someone who is a true CLASS ACT, and who will give you better than the best prices on authentic merchandise, LTFL is the place to go! The watches arrived with all original packaging, etc. and all the protective plastic, etc. still in place. I was wondering why the tracking details said the box was 6 pounds, but when it arrived, I can see it is because he sent the watches so well secured and double boxed in large shipping boxes filled with packing peanuts! Ultra secure! I only looked for bargains on the Tag because I recently purchased a pricey (by my standards) Rolex from the local Jarred's, so I wanted to save some money on the Tag. I didn't expect them to be, but the Tag and Movado timepieces from LTFL were every bit as impressive as the anniversary edition Rolex Sumbariner Green Dial/Bezel that I just purchased. Beautiful watches!!! I am sure people will doubt this review, since I am a first time poster to this forum. Sure, you got me ..I was motivated to join mainly to leave a good review for LTFL. It is the least I could do after getting such a great deal! I will continue to use this site and be active as a result of my new passion for beautiful timepieces. However, I would like to begin this journey on a positive note by leaving this glowing review for Luxury Time For Less. This is a service to this entire forum community. Members, feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. I am 100% certain that there will be many more positive reviews for this site on this forum in the near future. To quote rich " Dealing on the internet can be a disappointing venture for buyers, and I like to "turn that around" and make it a positive experience." After hearing all the horror stories from people who dealt with all the various "non-retail" outfits online, I had my share of concerns. In fact, another online company had held my money for a few weeks (the typical take your money and then not be able to source your watch) before I ran across LTFL. As mentioned, it took a lot to get me to pass on purchasing the Tag from a local authorized dealer who was willing to match the online prices. LTFL offered that, and a whole lot more! |

I wouldn't go anywhere near Luxury Time for Less or as they like to call themselves LTFL
The review is really just self-serving spin. Try to find out from their web-site where they are based........good luck they don't state any physical address. My advice, stay away.

This is just spam......
And you can work out for yourselves what that says about Luxury Time for Less especially since this thread was created in 2009 and it took 2 years for the first reply....

Why would you say not to go near them? LTFL is basically just one person (Richard Markow) out of St. Louis. He apparently works with an authorized retailer because their warranty card was included with both watches I purchased.
This is not self-serving spin. I am in no way affiliated with the company, and I only left a glowing review out of the honest exuberance I am feeling from getting such beautiful watches at ridiculously low prices. I had honestly not even heard of LTFL a week ago. Like I said, you are free to doubt me because I am new to the site. I know how these things go because I was the one doubting newb forum reviews when I was looking for this Tag. What was especially funny was the horrifyingly bad reviews obviously left by competitors trying to make another company look bad :-) Anyhow, like I said, I am sure other people will start leaving good reviews for Rich (LTFL). I am very curious why you would recommend to stay away from them? I just purchased two watches from Rich, and now I am pretty concerned!!! |

I would never deal with Luxury Time for Less because I don't trust them........
This thread has been around for 2 years and no one has mentioned them at all. Then you 'noneother' decide to write all manner of praise about them even using their own "LTFL" abbreviation for good use..paragraph after paragraph after paragraph......forget about the fact that you just purchased a new Rolex.......that gets one sentence....go on and on and on about LTFL and the great TAG and a second watch you purchased off LTFL because you were too cautious of wearing your Rolex Submariner to the grocery store..... And there is other reasons too that I don't need to tell you about. This is just spam and shilling.

If they are that bad then where is one bad review?
If LTFL was a sham, we would have heard something by now, and especially on eBay where buyers are quick to thwart unscrupulous sellers with negative feedback and buyer protection claims. Sure, Rich/LTFL appears to just be a small time dealer, but he provided one of the best purchasing experiences I ever had the pleasure of taking part in. Fair enough, but yes, people can form their own opinions, and with the way Rich does business, there will be more positive reviews. I can understand that I may lack credibility here and the LTFL site doesn't have a big reputation, but that is no reason to accuse me of lying or for accusing an honest business man (Rich) of being someone to steer clear of. LTFL probably doesn't have an address because Rich is a small business owner, a one man operation, quite possibly working from his house. I own two successful companies, both are small, and both outperform major corporations. One of the businesses is home based and generates 7-digit revenues, so I guess I am just open minded. I bought my Rolex from a brick and mortar AD store. I wanted to save some money on the Tag so I tried the "grey market". It was an educated gamble, and guess what, I came out ahead. Just thought I would share my experience and also put something on the Web for Rich, since I myself couldn't find anything on him before making the purchase. One thing we do know from scam operations is that they a) often times have a brief history (from changing names often) and b) They may have a longer history but there will be distinct portion of bad reviews for every good review. The company themselves will maintain a constant effort to counterbalance the negative reviews. Also, these sites will take your order and then try to source your watch on the grey market. Rich only will charge you for the transaction after showing you a physical photo of the watch. Not sure how you can go wrong there, but if money were not an issue, of course, it is better to go to an AD and pay twice as much. But for those of us getting started with this hobby, that is not always the case. Last edited by Lol-x; 26 May 2011 at 11:58 AM.. Reason: This post is spam stay away from Luxury Time For Less |

I actually dedicated another post to my Rolex. I purchased the Rolex a few weeks ago. I just received the Tag in the mail a few hours before leaving this original post/review. Since I did not purchase the Rolex from LTFL, I wanted to stick to the subject. I thought the subject of this thread was to get feedback on LTFL? Quote:
Please do tell the other reasons. Now I am really curious, as I said, because I just spent a good amount of money with this "untrustworthy" seller. Is there something I should be worried about here?? I see someone requested the photos. The Submariner was from Jarred's (not from LTFL), but I will take a photo of it and post it. The Mavado is a gift for my cousin for graduating med school and is going out in the mail tomorrow but I will take a photo of that as well. And I will post a photo of the Tag. Any other evidence you guys require? Sorry, but I don't take it lightly when people question my integrity. I can understand your reservations, but that doesn't change my stance. |

So this is spam? Then prove it! I've got better things to do for the remainder of my evening, but if there is any other Evidence you guys would like to see just let me know. I think I am going to be done with this board pretty soon but I would just like to make my point first. I didn't expect to get attacked like this for no reason. |

I don't have to prove anything to you, whoever you say your are without any name or identity and whose clear principal motivation for participation has been related to showering praise on your beloved LTFL.

Hey guys,
Another person looking for information on LTFL brought this thread to my attention, which is unfortunate since others may find it too, but understand the reasoning. I only ever go into the "who's who" section when selling or more importantly, buying, since I listed a few watches here for Rich but believe they all sold on Ebay first, thus I missed ever seeing this or I would have responded much sooner. He has PURCHASED at least one watch from DavidSW whom I helped him connect with, and I'm pretty sure David left a positive response to that transaction. Nonetheless, I've been around these parts long enough now to have seen at least a few horror stories, and can understand the skepticism associated with any online watch site. We don't have anything currently listed here at the moment, and you can go back and look at the items I DID list with my user name (including all the photos, which should still be there), so I don't really have a dog in this hunt. What I CAN say is that while Luxury Time For Less is certainly not a big time watch dealer, we have done quite a bit of business both domestically and internationally, primarily via Ebay though the site existed for a while before Ebay was involved. We've never had a single disappointment from any customer, and do not claim to be an authorized reseller of anything we sell. In most cases, for the new watch brands (which would exclude Rolex since they're all pre-owned, but we still make exceptions) we typically offer some peace of mind by offering a warranty equal to that of the original manufacturer. Of course, we inform them that any and all services the factory won't authorize, would be done by a trained watch-maker (former Rolex guy from a shuttered AD in STL). I can also say that the customer testimonial above, while a new user, was definitely the real deal. It also seemed to me like quite a long and involved story for someone who was out to spam the forum, but I suppose that isn't completely extra-ordinary. The unfortunate part that leaves me at an impass is how exactly a situation like that should be handled. If the "who's who" section is designed to help users vet unscrupulous sellers, and the reviewer is new, do they have to be met with such vigorous accusation? I think it is valid to insert a reply letting other users know that caution should be exercised with a "new" member to TRF, but I don't quite understand the outright denial and accusation of spamming. What REALLY worried me was that the accusations were so strong he was having second thoughts about his OWN purchases. We never heard about it though or as I mentioned, I would have replied sooner. I guess that user was also banned. In any case, if anyone ever comes across this thread, or if anyone here is curious about LTFL... here are a few pieces of info I can provide... *LTFL is a long time member of the International Watch and Jewelry Guild, and Rich has participated in the watch shows at various times in the past. *Here is the LTFL feedback page on Ebay. These would be for Rolex and non-Rolex transactions, of course... http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...urytimeforless *And at least to legitimize my own postings here, here is the positive review we received from DavidSW for a Two Tone SubC purchase several months ago... http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...ght=playdrv4me *Pledge membership should NOT be used as a means of determining the viability of any seller, but again, to add legimaticy to at least my existence here, I was a Pledge member in 2010 and I'm sure there is some way to verify that (haven't been on much lately except to check values/details on certain models and when I heard of JJ Irani's passing). *Here are links to many of the watches I had listed here, plus other postings of mine. I believe all of those photos were taken by me... http://www.rolexforums.com/search.php?searchid=4057313 Thanks for everyone's time, and cheers. |

Greetings, all. I am a customer (just as of today) of the company that is the subject of this thread.
The proprieter of the website you are discussing treated me with the utmost respect and courtesy and gave me a very reasonable value on what is my second Rolex. I am not a shill, but it does irk me to see someone's name dragged down for really no reason and with peculiar judgement. In any case, I joined this forum this morning to see discussions about the watch I bought and in the course of doing so came across this thread. You can write whatever you would like in response, of course, and you can pan me or flame me, but the offer is genuine [to speak to a satisfied "regular guy" customer]. Best wishes to all - I am glad there is a place like this on the net. |

Well, here's one. Rich at LTFL (Luxury Time For Less) was the utmost in respect and courtesy at the beginning of our association. I actually liked the guy and we had a great rapport at first. That is, until I found some discrepancies with the TOG 1625 he sent me. To be fair, he sent it to me for inspection before I decided to buy it, but I think that may have been a ploy to earn my trust and not scrutinize the watch. However, having been a lurker here at TRF and gleaning so much information from you guys, I knew what to look for, and as two people doing business, I shared my findings with him. He got defensive and rather insulting. Anyway, without going into detail, he turned on me when he realized that I found the watch not as described. I sent it back, and I hope he learned from this experience. I know that I did! I would not trust LTFL unless they have pictures of the inside of the watches that they sell. To not inspect them thoroughly before selling them because they bought them "from a trusted Source" is not professional in my opinion. |
