116519 vs 116710BLNR

Very different watches, but if someone opened a box and told you to pick one are you taking the Batman or the white gold Daytona on leather.

Daytona. I already have a BLNR.

But if I didn't, I would still pick the WG Daytona (and get the BLNR later.)

My favorite six digit steel Rolex is the blnr....now that that's out of the way...the Daytona hands down.

How on earth has the Daytona enjoyed such mythical status? Even for the normally sighted the subsidiary dials require a certain amount of squinting for establishing timings. In addition the hour and minute hands can also be a pain to read because of reflection.
A very very overrated overpriced chronograph- it simply does not perform the role required. I speak from experience having had a Zenith. The much overhyped new Ceramic Daytona has failed to address this major issue!
The BLNR delivers on all fronts-NO CONTEST!!!
And as for all those demented owners who have paid up to twice retail for the privilege of flashing the new Daytona on their wrists it can only be for one reason-sheer vanity.
My BLNR leaves for nothing!

Despite being a owner of a new daytona, I would recommend the BLNR. It is such a beautiful and practical watch!

I had a Daytona and I could rarely tell what time it was. Not enough contrast between the hands and the face/subdials. Natch, that depends on the color of the face, subdials and hands, but I've yet to find one that works for me. Except maybe the new blue face, with black hands. But I can't buy it new, and I'm not sure I want to spend more than twice the BLNR price on even a used one.

It's a no brainier.

Take the Daytona, sell it, and buy a BLNR and pocket a chunk of cash.

Strange question. One is 3 times the price of the other.
