From Hawaii with love

As most of you know my wife and I were in Hawaii recently visiting our son.
If you've never been there words and photos cannot describe the beauty and splendor of the islands.

Just a few of the photos we took and some of the places we saw.

Waikiki in the morning,

Kailua, where my son lives from a mountain top we climbed in the morning,

Lanikai beach next to Kailua,

A place called paradise cove on the north shore of Ohau where we went to a luau,

Luau entertainment,

I'm not sure why I took this picture?

Waterfalls on the Big Island,

Black sand beach,

The caldera of Mt. Kilauea volcano,

My son and I in the caldera

OK..it is a Rolex forum

My son had to get his EXP II in as well (my wife took the pic and thought we were nuts!)

Going into a lava tube,

Sunrise on Ohau,

Awesome pics mike and I love the commentary too. Good to see you wife tolerates your passion for watches

It looks like a very relaxing place to holiday.

Great pictures Mike and looks like you guys were having fun. Nice time with your son is a great way to vacation at his age. JJ is on my ignore list so I can't read his posts. Knowing him he spied the girl with the coconut bikini.. Stay safe and when you get back I am going to bother you with a few vintage questions.

Mike, those are great photos! Looks like a wonderful time and I wouldn't mind it at all if my boy decided to move to the islands when he comes of age! We love the islands too and every time I go there, I come back all the mellower! I also see you were sporting the proper travel watch! By the way, what a lovely bunch , I mean pair, of coconuts!

If you're on Waikikki beach don't forget to go to the military museum and visit the gift shop. Then you can go to Dukes for lunch. Enjoy your trip!!
