Icon10 What should I get?? Yactmaster or AP

Hey guys

I'm looking to finally expand my collection but I'm having a hard time choosing between two watches. I really want a watch on a strap or rubber band and I've narrowed it down to two watches that I've fallen in love with. The yactmaster everose 40 116655 and the AP Royal oak rose gold black face on leather strap 15400or. It seems that I can catch a good deal on each here from a trusted seller but I'll have to shell out some more for the AP. What are your guys thoughts on the two? Is the AP worht the extra cash? I've been wearing my datejust II for a while now and I love it but that gold itch is getting to me.

Once I decide I plan on finding it on here
Thanks for the input

AP hands down. That YM doesn't look finished with the oysterflex - needs end links.

I'd go YM, one of the most comfortable watch out there, plus the rolex is a whole lot more reliable than the AP.

Two completely different looks, IMO. I like the charm of the all black dial and bezel of the YM with the RG accents. Just in a different league of anything that's out there...again that's just my opinion.

I agree, the 15400 doesn't look right on leather. Make it an offshore and it's AP all the way.

I prefer both on bracelets, but the AP would be my choice.

Both are really great watches, but I prefer the full bracelet Royal Oak myself, especially in rose gold. That finishing on gold is unbelievable and I want to see as much as I can of it

Don't own a RG YM Oysterflex, but I've heard great things about the comfort level of the strap/bracelet. This is one of the few cases were I think a Rolex is a lower key option if that is a consideration as well.

Great both pieces

Since you can't spell yachtmaster, you should go with the AP.

I'd agree, PM finishing is superb on the APs, also as I wrote elsewhere I need a bit of time to get used to the light OF having become accustomed to APs more heavy duty straps.
