Iconic Rolex colors

What is the most iconic Rolex color for a dial. One where if you just saw the color you would think of Rolex. For consideration:

Hulk green also the color of Rolex
Sky blue dial of platinum pieces
The blue found in the WG Daytona?
Smurf blue
Others

I guess I would vote for the sky blue. You?

I would say the LVc Green dial, (Rolex Green) the Sunburst blue dials (IE on the TT Submariner, Datejust etc) and the ice blue dials on the platinum models.

Ice blue, or Anniversay green.

Otherwise black is the color I most associate with the brand.

Gotta be this dial.

Another modern dial that is really iconic to Rolex is their icy blue PM references.

Ice Blue dial is the most distinctive and unique so points straight to a Rolex for me, although I did like the AP Montauk too but I don't think many others would know of it.

While not on the dial, anytime I see a Pepsi bezel on a watch, the only thing I can imagine is a Rolex GMT...Definitely classic.

1) TT DJ on jubliee bracelet is the most recognized Rolex in the Asian countries and many other watch brands kinda copied them.

2) Pepsi - blue and red combo

3) Hulk

Absolutely Spot On @topgear! Yes Sir.Highly sought after by upcoming Chinese businessmen,@topgear is referring to the half gold,DJ "Rolex Star" Ref 16233 and when the model number is translated from Mandarin into English means "All the Way Easy Long Life"

The other 0ne is the full gold DD or President or Rolex King is number 1 on the wanted list among the successful Chinese businessmen and its ref number 18238 translated means "Prosper Easily,Long life and Prosperity"

So Caucasian People! Generally speaking, Iconic Colours mean nothing to Asian Chinese customers who are more interested in the meaning of the numbers behind the brand

NO Chinese customer would ever purchase a Rolex if he or she discovers that the watch has the number 4 or 164 engraved on it !

Champagne and Glacier blue are the only ones I tightly associate with Rolex.

Put the number 8 on the dial and it will sell like hot cakes. There is an opportunity there to do some serious business in China with some kind of "8th Edition" models.
