Chama Chama Chama Chama Chama chameleon...

Chama Chama Chama Chama Chama chameleon... or how the GMT Master is so many watches in one!

This is my Matte Dial 1970 GMT Master 1675 which I acquired not too long ago and I wanted to share how, I believe, the Rolex GMT Master (and GMT Master II) is just the most versatile watch.

I had a ton of fun making this little photo collection and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

PS: If you live near the Bay Area, the Rolex Service Center in San Francisco (near Union Square) will sell you inserts for your GMT without asking for an insert back.

Very very nice people too! Giovanni loves his watches and rocks a gorgeous Root Beer GMT.

Great. Now that song is stuck in my head.

But really nice collection, love the first two straps in particular.

I was trying to think of what a "chama" might be. Finally got the song reference and realized you were going for "karma". Too funny.

My 116719 says hello:

So I read the title of this thread, and now that song is stuck in my head. Just to be clear, I blame you for this...

First pic really reminded me of the 41 Black bay on strap I tried on today.

Does the bezel just pop right off, or is it a fight? I have done it a couple times with an Omega Seamaaster (yes, I have the correct tool), and it was still a bear.

It's fairly straightforward (couple seconds) once you know how to do it. The first time is terrifying! :-)

I'm on mobile right now so I don't have the link handy but someone posted a really good tutorial here somewhere which I followed the first time.
