Thanks Paul. She was remarkable, but didn't like to talk about the past. The memories weren't something she wanted to remember. I think I only asked her once about WWII because my husband was so eager to find out. The conversation didn't last very long... She changed the subject.

Moke sounds much like my own grandmother that passed away at 100. You were blessed to have known her. The give away is a nice tribute to her memory.
