I must admit - I have thought more than a few times how clean my GMT would look after a quick cycle in the dish washer... I mean glasswear comes out pretty good!!

And what's wrong with what that poster did? I've noticed you really like to take cheap shots at people's supposed lack of intelligence, be it this guy or Anderson Cooper. Given some of the "gems" you've posted here, to wit: http://www.rolexforums.com/showpost....65&postcount=1 and let's not forget this little "beauty": http://www.rolexforums.com/showpost....13&postcount=3 I'd be a bit more circumspect and, quite frankly, too embarrassed to call out others. |

Because it's a fake, didn't you read the replies from the others??
And why not test it? Watch need a good cleaning once in while, you can always send it to get it fixed again if it doesn't work out as expected . It's seems he has money to spend if he tries this sort of stuff.

I see nothing wrong with the original tests, especially no 'bastardizing.'

Jocke, you are hard-core! I particularly loved the application of "a little heat"! That looked like a lot of fun! Definitely an eleven on my scale. Cheers

He is just copying the Rolex 'boil an Oyster' advert. No big deal really and quite boring. Now if he had been wearing it while he boiled it - now that would have been a first.
Note that in the Rolex advert it is a twinlock not a divers watch.

It is his Sea Dweller, he can do with it as he pleases.
I wonder if he used Cascade Detergent Sean

"BASTARIDIZING"?
That word is being over used. And I think that experiment was neat, even if it already has been done before. May I ask, are you willing to put your Rolex through that same test? |
