Go big or go home haha. Platinum all the way. If it was just between a gold daytona or sky dweller I would pick the sky dweller but there is just something so awesome about platinum.

One for one.....

I would choose the Platona. But I would choose a WG Skydweller and a WG Daytona over the Platona alone. Good luck with this PM battle

The only Daytona I would consider is the Pt (ended up getting a RG AP 44, passed over the pt Daytona twice), I had the RG on strap and while nice, was not for me. SkyD for the win!

..........Then the daytona lol

I voted other in this case. Nothing wrong with your choices, they all are incredible, and buy what sings to you obviously. But if it were me, the most beautiful ceramic Daytona is the one in rose gold with the Ivory dial pictured below. I think bang for buck, pound for pound, this is the most exciting reference. It can do double duty as an elegant or sport casual watch, and the Ivory dial and rose gold markers set off and display the intricate details of this reference. Just my opinion only. Good luck and post pics when you have made your decision.

nope love that watch

i would take the meteorite daytona + sky dweller over the platona

the platona is a great watch but imo these 2 trump it

I would choose the gold Daytona. The platinum Daytona is certainly a lovely watch but it is functionally the same as the ss Daytona at an msp premium of a little more than 60K$. For this kind of difference I would want some interesting complications.

I think the Sky Dweller is an interesting watch, but I do not care for any watch that requires more than pushing a plunger to access the functions, i.e., the requirement to rotate Sky Dweller bezel bothers me.

I voted SkyD but that assumes you get one of the gold Daytonas. If you just buy 1 I vote Platona.

I owned a Meteorite Daytona on WG bracelet and traded it, and cash, for the Platona. Both are beautiful in their own way, but I preferred the Platona all things considered.

Can't speak to YG as that color does not work for my skin tone (according to the wife).

I have owned the SkD YG, and currently own the Platona. If you're keeping your current references, and plan on adding, I'd have the Platona every time. If you're getting rid of your current collection for one of these two choices, 2 watches vs 1......I would have 2. If I were in your shoes, and getting rid of your whole collection for the Platona, I'd only do it if there was something (everyday watch) to follow soon after...
I do wear my Platona 90% of the time, but i have other references that I wear, and truly enjoy.

Sky Dweller. Daytona does nothing for me. Look like any other chronograph watch.... and the numbers on the bezels mean nothing to me. Different strokes for different folks. Classic vs new age. :)

I vote(d): (I can't figure out how to embed a picture in between two sections of text)

It's a great one and only watch. But it sounds like you want a Sky Dweller, which is too big for me, but a very cool watch. You should get what YOU want, which I believe is the SD. Luckily there are no bad choices!

No need for a Pt stop watch. SkyD and not even close for me.

Not really a fair fight w Platona. I prefer the gold sky d to any other gold daytona.

Platona because it's not too large, understated and platinum.

I also loved the Rose Gold Ceramic Daytona Ivory or Chocolate dial and saving up for this piece. Until I saw the Rose Gold Sky Dweller in real life, I have to save more
