Will get rid of one bluesy for another blue

Finally made up my mind - as it should be when considering a new watch to the collection and I got a good discount on this boutique special. Will be selling my bluesy in the next few months

Here it is....

Got a good discount and some free gloves as well

It would have made a nice pair, unfortunate you are selling it. Congratulations on the AP, suppose this should have been in the AP section and not the Rolex side.

When you go to sell the Bluesey, are you going to disclose that one of the polished gold links was touched by a gloveless AD?

Obviously, that's why it needed to go. You had to know its days were numbered.

Congrats. :)

Postscript: Big mistake. First AP service will take 8 months and cost and arm and a leg.

No, a few weeks, and no, under $1K for a RO.

I wish I could, although my job situation recently means it's a tough decision I have to make. My bluesy would literally be sitting around not being worn for months on end

The gloves will come in handy. Every time you go looking at watches from now on, take them with you and hand them to the sales associate. You then instruct them to don the gloves before touching your property.

With that comment, I should be probably give them to you just in case you damage anything "accidently "

It's all in good fun

To be fair, you set that one up all by yourself by including a pair of gloves in the pic

they have always been quick as far as turnaround with me. 8 months is quite an exaggeration. My GMT cost the equivalent of around 600 CHF just for the service the last time that it was in (not including optional replacement parts), so 900 CHF for a watch that costs more than 2X as much is pretty reasonable and proportionally less than Rolex as a percentage of cost of the piece.
