It's been a tough week...
...and only food can make me feel better. Ok, many things can make me feel better, but food is instant gratification. That's the best mentai rice I've ever had, super fresh scallops that melt in your mouth, hamachi and teriyaki cod, with some yummy shisamo... and mmm, freshly grated wasabi. Yes, I am back in office now, readying myself for the weekend ahead. HAGWE folks |

A tough week makes us enjoy those sweet weekends even more.
But that food makes my mouth water... and leaves me very much looking forward to my next visit to Japan just 3 weeks away! |

No public holidays in Malaysia for the month of July, guise. Take a moment, sit down, and let that reality sink in. No public holidays!!!
On a more serious note, I have to sort out some wedding stuff as well as home renovations, deadline in Sep 2017! |

@Ruud, bar National Day, we have pretty similar public holidays I've just started to pick up some momentum from the long Raya holiday and then realized this is going to be a dry month!
@Mon send some holiday cheer over, would you? My friend Ruud could do with some too I bet! @Canook my colleagues in AU used to say the same to me! Except... holidays that fall on a Saturday will not give us an extra day, only on Sundays. Plus, I've also added up the leaves available (public holidays and average annual leaves per employee) for HK and AU and it really adds up to be about the same as here in MY |
