Who's gonna win "Champion golfer of the year"?
Phil fan here and that's who I'm going with.

Hard to handicap golf these days. So many good players. Last few majors have been first time winners. DJ is the favorite at the odds maker...

I think Matsuyama is due to win a major soon. He is a consistent ball striker and consistent earner. He would be my dark horse. Tommy Fleetwood has been on a roll lately and is another outsider to watch. Jon Rahm is another to watch if he can keep his emotions in check.

Hoping DJ or Jordan or Phil are there on the back nine on Sunday

We have a pool at work and we all get 3 golfers.. I have Ricky, Koepka, and Matsuyama...best low score average of the 3 is a winner take all... wish me luck

Also I love the British, in that, I get up at 5am everyday anyway but now, major golf is on... awesome with coffee when the house is quiet

This is such a fun tournament to watch. You never know what rediculous situations these open courses can put the pros in. Sentimental pick...Sergio.

Nice call on Fleetwood, he grew up on the course. I'd throw Daniel Berger in there ang I like Rickie, Jordan and Sergio to be there on Sunday

With a nod to Nick Faldo I paraphrase. Its gone from "The Open Championship" to "The British Open" to "The Open". Pretty soon it will be called just "The"

Spieth played about a flawless round this morning. He looks focused and ready.

I'm a huge Phil fan but unfortunately he's a world class choker that's why he has so many second place finishes

Never thought I'd think this but with Phil headed back to Rancho Santa Fe,I'm pulling for Poulter to get him a major.

Have a great time. Super envious. I would love to see/play some of the old links courses. Bucket list stuff for me.

Kooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooch! Had a strong morning. Let's see how Jordan and Brooks handle the conditions today. Rory fought back to be lurking...really enjoyed watching them play the conditions this morning.
