Icon20 UK Price increase imminent

You heard it here first. Just got word from a reliable and solid contact. Was on the nose with the 10% last time. Plus it's needed to put us on par with EU and get some stock back in the AD network. No wonder the Greys have been sitting on their stock.

You sure you didn't just read this thread a couple of days ago and repeated what we were saying, only without the numbers?

Don't know a % yet. Will likely find out in the morning. And no, AK797 - I didn't actually read that thread. I'm sure I will find out even more at The Open golf on Sunday in the Rolex Hospitality Suite :-)). However, we may already know by then..

I thank you.

If a price increase happens but there is no inventory to buy, did the price really increase?

Steve, sorry for less than warm welcome but over the years we have seen newbies come predicting the same thing.

I for one hope there is a price rise as I've already bought the ones I wanted for this year.

Stick around...

I appreciate the banter! Been visiting this forum for years but never got involved so to speak.. Just last week I added the GMT 116718LN (Green), 116500LN White and the Hulk! :-)) to my little collection. Maybe I should have introduced myself with that thread as they looked awesome together on the AD tray.. And the pics (or it didn't happen - I know!). LOL

Wow!! You managed to bag all 3 of those, together, at the same time, at the same AD??? And only 1 week before the price increase, in the U.K.?? The planets and stars definitely aligned for you!?!? That is definitely a picture worth seeing.

I sure did and I will post the pics.. However, not bought in the UK but at an AD in the EU I have a very good relationship with - so cost me a little more but walking out of there into the sunshine with a White Daytona on my wrist softened the blow. The stars didn't align perfectly, but what is a little extra cash for the joy those watches will bring a humble man from Lancashire..?
