Bangkok 2nd hand watch sellers
Hey all,
Does anyone have any intel regarding second hand watch sellers in Bangkok? I really don't expect to buy anything there... but it would be kind of fun to do some window shopping. |

Central world in Pratunam have about 4-5 dealers in there(ground floor just around the corner from Rolex)
MBK Have quite a few second hand dealers as well(3rd floor from memory) Siam Square have 2-3 There is quite a bit of second hand rolex floating around BKK (im there every month and usually check them all out religiously) but keep in mind Rolex is very popular and the prices there are NOT cheap for second hand at all!!!!! They seem to think they have some form of monopoly that entitles them to charge more then the going rate around the world..... The only ones within reasonable price range is the uber expensive full PM models and larger size watches In other words dont expect a bargain lol!

I don't think I'm likely to buy in BKK this trip. But it would be fun to see what is on offer. My first ever Rolex came from BKK. It was a 6694 that I got at the time of the Asian Tiger Economies currency collapse in '97. Those who were caught out by the crisis were selling off their Rolex and Mercedes left right and centre. After BKK I'm off to Japan for a month. With the rising AUD, there might be a bargain to be found there. |

If you go down to ground floor where rolex is and head towards the exit closest there is a dead end to the left, they all moved there 3 weeks ago... There is 4 shops.. one shop has 3-4 individual counters in it operated separately MBK has 1 ground floor grey dealer called WARA from memory(mostly new) and 3rd or 4th floor has at least 8-10... keep in mind most dont open until 1pm-2pm and close about 7pm so dont go at 10am because they wont be there

All the used dealers are now on the 5th Floor of Central World.
"Inter Watch" are quite friendly. (Thais not big fans of "window shoppers" ) |
