The DJ41 has changed my thinking.
Grabbed a DJ41, fluted, Rhodium baton dial with Jubilee. Love the watch and is comfortable and light to wear. The Jubilee is fantastic to wear. I have previously had Rolex sport watches (Deepsea x 2, Explorer 1 and 2, Subs ND, with date and in TT, and a steel Daytona). So my SD4K is being flipped. Great watch but I realised I have grown out of the sports stuff. Time to wear a watch more fitting to my age to kick in.
No pics as you all know what it looks like. The journey has been expensive but fun. Glad I landed on the DJ. Bob |

I can't wait to get my DJ 41 but in blue dial, I would probably ogle at the fluted bezel all day

I have the exact same DJ41 combo as you! My favorite Rolex model - I love SS and minimalist (debatable carrying the Rolex name, but you now what I mean lol). I like the blue dial, but I find the rhodium more versatile - i.e. Can't wear a blue dial with black suite! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I just knew when Rolex released the new DJ41 I would be getting one. I am not really a TT guy but even contemplated not waiting for the SS model, but glad I did. I have the Oyster bracelet, white dial and fluted bezel. I just love it. It is a simple and non-cluttered look, but at the same time a bit flashy with the fluted bezel. Your choice looks excellent as well and you will definitely enjoy it. Congrats on that choice!

I too get into the anti crown guard movement on occasion so I understand your point well.
Congratulations on your new acquisition and the fun you had on your journey to get there. |

Congrats, the DJ is a gorgeous watch.
Has anyone else tried to configure the DJ41 with a rhodium dial and fluted bezel on the rolex website. They don't seem to allow that option on the website. |

The blue dial, flutted bezel and jubilee bracelet is another example which can't be configured.

I'm about to sell my 114060 to get a DJ41/fluted/blue stick dial/jubilee. Ever since I saw this watch I knew I had to have it. Will pair it along with my BLNR. |

Is it stupid to own more than one Datejust? That is my question. With so many different dial combinations, bezels, etc. you could have one for any occasion. I guess that is subjective but I want one with a black or blue dial, either SS or SS with white gold rather than only having the choice of my two tone gold jubilee.

I always thought the jubilee was for old men, but at 35, I think I might be an old man.
Planning on the DJ41 fluted, jubilee, white dial for later this year. The white dial isn't even an option on the Rolex website, but after seeing it in person, I'm ready for old man status. |

I totally get the OP's way of thinking. I dismissed the DJ family for years and when I tried a DJII on, I had to own one. Still love the sports models but a DJ is classic Rolex.

It changed my thinking as well.
Similar to Paul, I knew even with the TT version that I'd love this watch. I never liked the jubilee before this watch. Now I love it. I've got smooth jubilee and it's the perfect combo for what I'm looking for.
