SD43 Box Question

Hi folks, please could you tell me which size box the SD43 should come with? Is it the standard small size?

Many thanks

Rolex don't supply specific box's for specific watches.

All watches are supplied to the AD in a small plastic shipping container nicknamed 'the coffin'

Box's are shipped separately and it just depends which one the AD picks off the shelf at the time of sale.

Having said that, the larger box's are generally reserved for high end pieces and Daytona's etc.

There is no real set box for all the SS models its mainly whatever the AD has on his shelf at point or sale. Now watches like the DSSD mainly come in larger boxes but this is not always the case.

Mine was the medium and Peter is correct as usual. My AD shelves a lot of medium boxes instead of large though.

Mine came with the midsize. As said though, it's whatever the AD grabs from the shelf.

Mine came with the smaller sized box. Interestingly, mine came with the SD 4000/ DSSD booklet. Did anyone get an updated version? Kind of minor, but when you spend this kind of money on a watch, I think they could have printed a new version.

It isn't a large box but it's a bit bigger than the box my GMT came in.

I think the OP's question was answered already near the start of the thread - there is no right or wrong size

The correct type of booklet however may be a different story...

Exactly what the AD told me when I complained about the small size of the box where the SD43 would barely fit. My YM SS/Plat. comes in a medium box.
