It seems like Joe Rogan is wearing a huge Rolex Seadweller that sadly really needs some links removed. That has to be incredibly uncomfortable to wear. Forgive the pic. Good card so far.

D-Blue. He's got a bunch of bananas for hands. I'm sure his wrists are huge, probably wouldn't have to remove too many links, but it's definitely way too loose.

This isn't his first time wearing that watch at a PPV event.

It's really not a good look. Each to their own, but that goes beyond mere loose-fit personal comfort choice, and instead communicates an ignorance of style, or laziness.

It may not be his watch. These sort of fit issues is common with clothing and accessories that are borrowed for an appearance.

Yes, that's absolutely possible, it's true that TV production companies will often supply wardrobe items, or that jewelry etc. is borrowed for an occasion.

However:

1) I'm fairly sure that such a personal item as a watch would more often be a 'model's own' item, rather that lent by an employer. A suit yes, but a watch? I can't see a TV company realistically thinking that sticking a particular watch on a presenter will make a qualitative improvement to their production.

2) Even if a Rolex were to be retained for such purposes, and micro-managed onto the wrist of a presenter/host, surely it would make sense to have it tailored to an 'average' wrist size and remove excess links (because it will have to fit a wide range of revolving cast)? The clasp contains a glide lock-esque 2cm extension facility, so why have it flapping around in such a fashion?

3) If lent for product promotion purposes, I'd expect the supplier to ensure the merchandise is displayed to its best ability, and fitted to the individual

4) If the guy has just borrowed it to 'look flash', he's still ignoring the very poor fit, which leads us back to the original opprobrium.

Rogan is awesome...but that aside locutus49 got it right....everyone wears their watch different for comfort. I've noticed ton of loose wearing watches here in Japan where the watch rotates freely like a bracelet....I don't get it but as long as they like it....huge amount of two tone watches here too...I don't get it but once again, to each their own.

Hey, it's not my thing, but, considering his level of training, I don't think I'd say it to Joe's face. lol

Actually, I met him about 17 years ago, and he was one of the most down to earth and nice celebrities I've met. He took me and a buddy on a personal tour of the Comedy Store after his set, and I was impressed how great and earnest he was. Of course, IIRC, he was driving a bright yellow NSX, so his style has always been a bit flashy. :)

He owns the D-Blue along with a YM1. I've seen him wearing it elsewhere, such as videos of his podcast. Another commentator, Brian Stann, wears what I think is an IWC Portofino on a brown strap.

Yes some people are harsh, I wear my 16600 loose as well.
