Oh I am going all in for euromillion, selling all my properties, watches and other assets, putting all the money on a million different tickets, they say you have 1 chance in 90 million to win, so I will have 1 chance in 90 to get the big kahuna, or 89 chances in 90 to be homeless and broke. I think it's worth the risk

The entire market is STUPID overvalued and a huge correction is coming.
Timing it is the hard part |

Just trying to learn, as I've just been a guy who buys mutual funds that I'm not planning on doing anything with for another 25 or 30 years when I retire. I'm just at a point where I want to get a little more educated on all this stuff. |

Is there really going to be a crash? Thought you guys would all want to see the first trillion dollar company first, Apple v Amazon. Historically the US is only slightly overvalued, nothing like say the Dot Com boom, but earnings are generally good as is global growth. I think Tepper and most Hedgers are fairly Bullish still.

1) the article is only about 5 stocks so not sure how OP thinks this is evidence of a total market correction
2) most funds mentioned are good funds, but they still get things wrong all the time 3) how exactly are the mentioned funds "bearish" on these stocks? They're taking some profit by trimming long positions. If they were truly bearish, wouldn't it make more sense to establish a net short position? This is why I tend not to read a lot of "business news" besides tracking actual pricing |

Aren't there supposed to be some cuts to taxes coming up, which would boost the markets. An interest rate rise is already priced in. I don't think the US outlook is nearly as dire as some.

I think the success or failure of our gov't will affect the markets. Not getting political here, just to say that, well, you hear about our administration.
Fortunately I have very little in speculative investments. I retire in 12 days and thus have my $ in vehicles providing guaranteed lifetime income streams. |
