<<< Another What to Wear thread>>>

Good day all,

So we are heading off to Italy, (the Amalfi Coast area) to celebrate our belated honeymoon and my 50th (also belated)

I'm a one wear and bring one watch kind of fellow so here are the contenders ....

PAM690, Dblue, or the SD43

Which would you choose and why?

Ciao

Brian, my last visit to Italy was with my DSSD, great, rugged and tough, great with t shirts. But any of yours will be outstanding.

Thanks my friend ... truly cant decide.

I was thinking of the Dblue as that's the watch I wore the day we married.

Go with the Pam, it's the only one that speaks the language.

D-Blue because it's the coolest of the three in my opinion.

I was kind of thinking this one as being the frontrunner Mon, and good point

Plus, f I can convince my wife to visit the Panerai boutique when we go up to Firenze, I might be able to pick up a strap

I was little afraid for a second when I read my 50th honeymoon.

The blue Pan is the way to go.

690. It's different and flies under the radar compared to the other two.

Go with the Pam! Maybe put it on a NATO or rubber strap if you plan on swimming with it.

Funny you mention the strap ... I was worried about swimming and you're right a rubber strap is a quick fix

I just want to add, if it matters, I have travelled numerous times to Italy with one of many panerai I used to have, not once did the Italian populous have a second look at one of their own, on the other hand, the Rolex is the watch that rules their hearts

I'd say that PAM as it looks incredible on you.

But if you swim, that leather isn't so good. I'd go with the touch of red. Perfect for doing anything.

Happy bday and happy honeymoon.

Enjoy.

Panerai for sure, and maybe pick up another strap as a souvenir while you're there. Have a great trip!

I'm a fan of the PAM that's a great looking versatile piece for everything except swimming. Have a great trip Brian that's a beautiful area!

Thanks Seth, we are really looking forward to this trip. Not much of a swimmer ( I can't actually swim, but I've been known to wade in the shallow end)

Ah, I was about to second Seth's post but now we have a bigger problem on our hands: you own a DSSD and a SD and you can't swim!?!?

Anyway, if swimming/water activities are not an issue I would take your beautiful Panerai.

And now the serious stuff, please eat a lobster tail at Pansa in Amalfi and try to grab dinner at Flauto di Pan in Ravello or Don Alfonso in Sant'Agata.
