Icon20 Should I buy the new Daytona or BLRO?

I am thinking about either buying the stainless steel Ceramic Daytona (Black) or the white gold GMT BLRO (116719). What should I do? I can get the BLRO now, or wait a few more months for the Daytona. Do you find that one is more comfortable or stylish? Thanks!

Wait a few months for the Daytona? Yeah, I'd go with that.

I personally prefer the older stainless steel BLRO to the new WG model. I'd choose the white dial/black bezel Daytona over the new BLRO. But the original SS BLRO is still my favorite, and can be had for $7,000 to $8,000 in very clean condition. If you get a good deal on the Daytona you might also be able to swing the SS BLRO. Together they should cost about the same as the new WG BLRO.

Both great and different options. Have you tried either or both on? Do you travel often or use a chrono function? I'd suggest buying whatever YOU like more, and if that involves waiting, then that's the best option.

Both. Steel BLRO (1675?) would let you get both?

Between the two, BLRO would be my choice.

BLRO. No time like today. I'm waiting two months for the 116519 which I thought would be sooner. Live for today.

The Daytona is an amazing watch, but too small for me personally. In that context, I'd go for the BLRO

I love the BLRO as I am an unabashed GMT II fan. Given a choice I'd take the BLRO over either of the SS Daytonas without a second thought.

Having had the opportunity to recently try on both color options of the Daytona 500, as well as having had tried on the White Gold BLRO on several prior occasions, I would definitely choose the White Daytona 500, and as others have said...pick up an SS BLRO to boot!

I'd choose the 116500 + an original Pepsi or BLNR over the BLRO.

I would argue the Daytona is both more comfortable and more stylish but I'd still get the BLRO now. Such a sweet piece

Just got the BLRO - a GMT function is super important to me and very handy. I have a stellar 5/6 watch collection but could honestly just get by with this one.

Go BLRO trust me

Another vote for BLRO, just get it now and enjoy, no telling when your Daytona will arrive so why wait.

BLRO easy over the Daytona, which is too small with a busy dial. The WG GMT is hard to beat in the modern Rolex lineup!

My head would tell me Daytona, heart would be telling me BLRO. I would probably listen to my head though as I am sure I could enjoy the new Daytona as much as BLRO
