I was told Rolex not only tell time but tell history. I'm still looking for that function.

When I inquired about a Hulk, which they didn't have in stock, the salesperson told me that nobody in their right mind would pay thousands of dollars for a green watch and that I should consider one of their other (non-green) in stock models instead.

Years ago I overheard a salesman at a midtown NYC AD tell someone that Omega and Rolex were both owned by the Swatch Group, and the only real difference was the cases. The place didn't sell Omega, so I'm not exactly sure what the sales pitch was (I think the woman was looking for a watch for her husband and her husband had an Omega and thought it was a tough and reliable watch and wanted something as reliable, or something like that). This was long before I had any interest in buying a Rolex and was new to nicer watches, so I didn't think anything about it -- I didn't know either way and didn't care at the time.

When you are setting the time, pull out the crown one more click. Warning, this only applies to crowns with four dots.
