Day Date Timeline Question
Early 2000s or late 90s Rolex updated the DD with solid links, polished end links and lugs. Later in the 2000s I noticed a new inner clasp, rolex engraved on the inner case around the dial and a new slightly domed crystal. I think both of these are considered 118238s. So my question is does anyone know there year where the additional changes were made more specifically, the new crystal?

Well they changed the clasp in 2003 which is an "F" serial. When i bought my DD36 118238 i made sure that it was at least an F serial so that i got the updated heavy clasp.
