AP - King of UK Sports
On comedy sports show League of their Own last week we had two titans of UK and world sport wearing APs. Anthony Joshua, the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world and best thing to happen to the Heavies in 20 years, was wearing a QE II ROO, and Sir Mo Farrah, the 5 and 10 thousand metre double double Olympic Champion and our greatest ever athlete, was wearing a gold RO.
AP are indeed in a league of their own. |

nice... I'm not even British and those are pretty close to my two favorite athletes. I saw Mo win a gold medal in person in the 5000 at London 2012. Pretty cool.

Yes, Jamie does, he and Corden swapped their's over once, he had a black 15400.
AJ also has a RG 44 and YG SkyD. Freddie was wearing a D-Blue. I remember Super Saturday when Mo, Jessica and that ginger bloke won golds, we were all celebrating in a classy Spanish restaurant and turned it into a pub, was a great night. |

I do watch a lot of golf and everyone sees the AP logo on their team of "golf ambassadors". I had no idea how many until I just checked. They just added the Tour Championship winner Xander Schauffele to their team comprised of Ben An, Darren Clarke, Paul Dunne, Branden Grace, Emiliano Grillo, Henrik Stenson, Miguel Ángel Jiménez, Andrew Johnston, Romain Langasque, Ian Poulter, Vijay Singh, Andy Sullivan, Peter Uihlein, Lee Westwood, Bernd Wiesberger and Danny Willett. You never really see them wearing their APs when they play, unlike, say, Bubba Watson with his Richard Mille. (I guess with a $500k USD watch he'd not want to leave it in his locker ).
Interested to know if that's the case across the board for the AP golfers. They pop them on, of course, for press conferences and photo ops. |

one could argue RM is designed to be worn for such high impact activities as swinging and hitting a golf ball would put a lot of stresses on any watch where as an AP is not. Plus RM's are much lighter and probably more comfortable to wear in such activities.
