IMHO see the DJ more as a dress watch, but that's maybe cause I'm more of a sports/professional line person, and don't suit up often, but love the dial, sounds a bargain!!!!! BUT i couldn't see myself wearing it as a everyday watch it just wouldn't feel right "to me" or "be me"

I like it
I have to laugh though, your thinking like me. A rolex for the daily beater, to save wear & tear on the other Rolex's sitting at home

I lkie it Craig, especially the dial. But here's the thing. IMO, the DJ is more of a dress watch than a daily beater and at 36mm is too small for me to wear. If it smiles at you then go for it, but if you're asking for other's opinions about it, your questions are already answered. For if it really did jump out at you, it would be in your possesion already Just my .02 pal

I don't know about it as a daily beater, Craig, but I do love the Roman dial DJ. What the heck, it could easily serve as a daily wearer. And at that price, I would snap it up. I'm sure it will appraise for at last double that price. That's based on what my TT Roman dial appraised at for insurance.
I would snap it up in a New York minute if I were you.

I'd wear it as a Beater.
An office beater. A desk diver Will even suffice at cocktail time. The price is very fair. Mrdi |

That would definitely be a nice acquisition, Craig. The Oyster bracelet makes it much more of a daily wearer than a Jubilee would.

Very nice Craig. I know that as 'daily beater' you mean watch to wear while you're sitting your Mr. Plod arse down at a desk all day. Perfect watch for that, and at a great price.

I would go for it at that price. Even if you end up not liking it I would guess you could easily recover your money. Cool bezel, Roman Numerals, Oyster bracelet Nice!

Nice! Rhodium Romans? If so, VERY nice.
Plus the engine turned bezel, is now limited as they no longer produce them. You just need the other trillion Rolexes with that bezel to die out. But for me, a daily beater? YES! I mean to be honest I work at a desk or in the classroom, not hard manual labor. In fact the only time I wear a beater watch is if I rollerblade. Concrete abrasion deserves a "special" watch, AKA titanium invicta. Very nice watch at a very nice price. |

not sure however, I do think rhodium is a mixture of metals so you would be correct in my eyes.... I'd think the indexs would be wg or ss but, I have been known to be wrong before ;o)

Craig, I like it, in fact I think it is great looking. The question is will you wear it, or if not are you cool with it just sitting in the box. That would be the only reason I wouldn't get it, it would not even fight for playing time. MHO
