Love and own the 214270 and the 116610LV (as of Saturday). I love the explorer and think it’s one of the most comfortable and well proportioned watches I own. However, I have really been considering the 126300 blue jubilee. Tried it on and then tried the rhodium and surprisingly, loved the rhodium more. I wear a suit most days and the DJ41 has a more dressy look to it, in my opinion. The difference that would push me to the DJ over the Exp is the sunburst dial over the black dial on the 214270. Again, I love my Explorer, but the jubilee and a sunburst dial, seems pretty tough to pass up.

Date function on the DJ trumps an Explorer imho. Go DJ41.

Of the two I would go Explorer. I personally think the DJ is far superseded by the new SS Skydweller - which would be my choice over the explorer if you could swing it.
