Rolex SkyDweller RG Chocolate Vs AP ROO RG 44mm

A few months ago I had my eyes set on a SkyDweller RG with chocolate dial. It was a gorgeous piece that I felt would be a good addition to my DJ2 rhodium dial. It was going to be my first PM piece and second Rolex since several years ago. When shopping around, I realized it put me in AP range and is when I decided to expand my horizons.

I came across the new black subdial RG44 and it sang just as loud as the SD. Both are gorgeous pieces and the AP is about $6K more, but that is the piece that I went with. Now, I have put a full deposit but found myself waiting for almost 3 months for this watch. I am considering pulling my deposit out and allocating it to a SD. Both would be brand new but with the SD I would be saving some money and it would be readily available. The AP "should" be coming in during the next 2-3 weeks, but it has not be confirmed yet.

So I turn to you guys for advice:
1) keep my deposit and wait for the new AP RG 44mm
2) pull deposit to obtain a RG chocolate SkyDweller

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Sorry AP, I think for the moment with all the problems at the movement 3126/3840 Rolex SD it’s the correct choose!
