I've traveled the Caribbean thoroughly, and Nassau is one of my absolute favorite places to go. The scenery, the people, the way of life...adore it.

Love the Bahamas, have been to Nassau/Paradise Island a dozen times but have to say my trip to Exuma when the four seasons was still there was maybe the best tropical getaway ever!!! Gorgeous and secluded, coupled with high end service. Shame they closed, I think it's a sandal's now? no thanks!

A lot of the original layout is still there, the pool looks a little different though. The vibe there is more laid back than most of the other Sandals. Great Exuma is an island that always over delivers, hopefully not that many other people discover it. It's like Providenciales was before the onslaught of celebrities and luxury travelers.

We are planning a spring trip there. Any recommendations? Family trip with teenagers. Been to Nassau many times. Looking to explore one of the other islands. Mostly relaxing but enjoy water sports. Thanks!
