Best Box Presentation with Watch

Which watch company has the best presentation in terms of the box you get with the watch. I have seen Rolex and Panerai but not the others. Whose is the best?

I really appreciate the presentation put on by omega.

Cartier too.

Patek by far. Their wooden boxes are as artistic and solid quality as their watches

the Rolex boxes are relatively basic

My boxes from AP, IWC were nicer. but I think this is a marketing tactic to make the watch seem like a meaningful & significant item. The value of a Rolex is self-explanatory to most people, hence no special box necessary

I don't worry too much about boxes, but I do think the throwback cork box from Patek (for their anniversary Nautilus in platinum) is a cool touch

I definitely agree with you regarding Cartier.

I ordered a watch from Cartier for my wife for Christmas a couple years ago and I had them wrap it and ship it to my work, all I did was hide it under the tree. The presentation was really top notch and when she saw that red Cartier box she was blown away.

At the other end of the market, I like the leather-and-canvas watch rolls that Dan Henry watches come packaged in. Something I can actually use.

Based on those I’ve received so far:

Rolex
Omega
IWC
Panerai
Breitling
JLC
AP
Patek

Patek by far, but as with all the other boxes I haven’t seen it since I received the watch and placed the box in storage just like all of the other watch boxes that go with the watches I own.

That is a beautiful roll, never seen anything quite like that.

Thanks for exposing me to Dan Henry too, noted! :)

I have a couple now...the tough cannisters they come in are quite handy too. A bullet-proof package for travel.

How do you beat a Rolex "box" like this?

I used to love the Omega red box. I could store my watches with opened bracelets there without issues. I have small wrists and it's impossible to close the watch bracelet inside a modern Rolex box. Not enough 'vertical' room to store it with an opened bracelet. Unfortunately no more red boxes in my collection.

If I'm honest, I would rather there be 500 quid off the price of the watch and no box. Mine are just kept under the stairs anyway.
