Disregard. Thought you meant just the bezel.

Nakow,

Welcome to the forum.

I think you can do better than that, w/box and papers...

If you have the funds, the right one will come along...

I think that there are lots of these watches available. I would as suggested have a look around and try to find one that has the original punched warranty paper from Rolex as that is going to be something that will help to retain the value of your watch.

Also, you need to look at the watch itself in terms of its condition and when it was last serviced. The shape of the case is especially important, as to whether it has been at any stage polished incorrectly or over polished.
The more recent GMT's had the cases made without the lug holes too, that is another factor to take into account.

Good Luck, and welcome to the forum.

It is on the high side, specially due to the fact that it does not come with box and papers!

I would'nt pay no more then maybe $ 3,300.00 or even $ 3,450.00. For a watch like that with no box or papers I would'nt be surprise if the watch was fake, just my two cent's I hope I'm wrong but it can and could happen.

Look around and you'll find a much better deal than that, especially in light of the current economy. If you can scoot across the border, you can probably find one new at an AD for just under $5K, if you look around.

You should be able to find the same watch between the $3200.00 and $3600.00 range. Bought my 2002 GMT II w/ box and papers for $3400.00.
Good luck,
dP
