GMT power reserve ???
Question about the self-wind on a GMT I recently acquired. I go to wear it and wind it 45-50 strokes. I'll wear it all that day and the next, by morning of the third day 52-55hrs it will have stopped. Should not the self-winding feature replenished sufficient power to have prevented this??? Never had this happen before on any other automatic that I've owned. Comments appreciated.

Which GMT do you have? Could possibly be that your wrist movement isn’t keeping it fully wound.

Power reserve should be around 45 hours, so either it's time for a servicing or you're not sufficiently active to power the winding mechanism.

45hr is about right but even if I sat on my butt all day some winding would take place. Could the winding mechanism be binding or something?
