Regretting the rolex i chose????!!

About a month ago i got myself a new TT daytona (116503) at the rolex Butique. It was a impulsive purchase but don't get me wrong it is a beautiful watch to own and wear.

Today i passed trough a rolex Butique and decided to take a look just to kill some time, when i saw and tried on the rose gold Day-date 40 in olive green dial, I completely fell in love. Im now thinking of selling my most recent daytona to partially help me fund this day-date. After asking for opinions from friends and family if i should keep or replace my daytona let me just say its 50/50, and its very hard for me to decide.
Let me just clarify that i am a casual dresser, 28 years old and not in office environment where i need to be formally dressed. I work from home and I just want a cool watch i can wear with t-shirt and jeans :)
what are your opinions? Should i go for it? Thanks!

That's quite an impulse buy... go and try on the dd a couple more times and if you feel 100% that this is the watch go for it.

I prefer the DD as well, but keep the Daytona. You are in for a massive hit on that one since you purchased it at a boutique

Although the DD is beautiful, that Daytona looks fantastic on you and works well with your ring and ink.

My vote is keep the Daytona

Man, that Daytona looks great on you and fits your described life style very well.

I agree with the post above, you will take quite the hit if you move it now. Maybe wait a bit and either see if you're still feeling the DD or save up for it? Good luck either way.

Daytona seems to suit you better. Day date is more formal and business like IMO

Go for the DD. The Daytona is way too busy.

That is one of if not my favorite DD. I could never pull off that Daytona but as other posters mentioned it looks good on you with the ring. I'd keep it for atleast a bit more longer to settle.

Of course, you realize your interest in the DD is "impulsive" too, right...?

As a matter of fact, just about all Rolex purchases are "impulsive" if you already own a watch, unless you are a serious collector (not just an gatherer).

If you are asking for opinions, I will say that I don't like either of the watches you're showing. I don't like the diamonds on the Daytona, and I truly don't like the combination of colors on the DD. But that's just my taste. A green and red Rolex is like a bad Xmas dream.

The Daytona does look great on you but if you’re head over heels for the DD, I’d make the switch. That green dial is just gorgeous!

You will take a big hit on the TT Daytona. Might as well keep it and enjoy it for awhile. Day Date is very beautiful watch, but maybe a little old for a 28 years old? But if you like it, get it.

Welcome to the "sickness". There is no correct answer we can tell you. Usually time will clear your head and show you the way.

IMHO, the gold DD looks like a "Florida rest home watch", the Daytona looks better.

If you plan on wearing daily go with the more durable TT Bluesy, 116613LB

As full disclosure neither sing to me personally but we are all different.

Out of the two I prefer the Daytona. Someone has already said it looks like a rest home watch and at your age I would agree that imo you are too young and trendy to be wearing the DD.

Stay with what you have sir. In life you will always buy something and then tomorrow see something else and think I prefer that !!! That’s life I’m afraid.

The Daytona looks so good on your wrist & also compliments the ring you're wearing.

The DD is killer and would be my choice. They're in different price ballparks though, so as long as it's not an issue go DD, IMO

Another vote to keep the Daytona and then add the DD next year or something. The Daytona looks incredible on your wrist.
