Used day date easily falls in your price range. Maybe ref 1803? Can’t beat the old plexi models, plus there are a TON of dial/case variations out there so you could really get the exact configuration you want. I think it would be a good compliment to your Daytona.

If you would consider a different brand, I’d highly recommend looking at the entry level Lange models. A Lange & Söhne is the peak of haute horologie (way better than Patek).

I would go pre-owned PM in YG/RG for a change in metal from your SS Daytona. I would consider a YG Daytona with the black dial and gold sub dials. So you have two Daytona, great. DD's and Subs are also on the table. With your budget, I would skip the TT market and step right up. This would give you two watches that are distinctive in appearance and purpose. Also, skip the AD route and save a lot of money working with the TS here.

Yes don’t forget full PM a 36mm day date would be a great alternate. It’s the favourite in my collection. Find I am wearing it much more than I thought I would.

It’s the 5165, which is the slightly smaller version that Paul and Ringo wear.
