Its Unique I'll say that for it. The problem is if the maker ever went belly up you would be stuck with a $40K paper weight if it broke.

How about this little gem from Harry Winston, the Opus Five?

JJ, we've already heard the gas meter analogy.

The UWerk is great
Its a AMAZING watch store in Birmingham Michigan that has it.
I have seen it and WOW do I wish I could afford one, it is really
a unique piece.

I have never seen the Harry Winston in person but my friend has

Here's the Opus Six, and a couple of reviews including James Dowling's:

Yogi is right. I have done business with Kirk for years and he and his store are first rate. He was buying, restoring and selling vintage watches before they were in vogue, and is a legitimate grey market dealer. If you are ever in the area, it is well worth a stop, as you never know what he may have in stock on any given day.
