I thrive in the Florida heat and humidity, no problem at all, love it, its what I know. I also tolerate the cold Ontario weather very well, the proper clothing help a lot, very light weight too. Earlier in the week it was below 0F in Canada, today we woke up to 32F in Florida, I would rather have the 0F. Florida cold is nasty. Might not make sense to anyone who has never lived it. But Florida cold is nasty, I hate it.

We currently have a lot more rain than usual, but generally for me autumn/winter > summer.

I was outside for 2 minutes with the dog the other night and when I came inside it felt like I had been out for an hour.

My wife was born and raised in southern italy, so the winters here are harsh, but for her, after 11 years she is still in the novelty stage, myself born and raised here keeps telling her when the kids are old enough, I am outa here for 4 months of the year, it is tough. But she loves it even more because being a woman, who loves fashion says, the winter is "fun" because of the new wardrobe for the winter season, great jackets, coats, boots, hats etc!!

I don’t like winter and moved to South Carolina looking for a more moderate climate. I have lived in the southeast, mid west and northeastern United States. I was born and raised in Miami so let’s say winter wasn’t a thing growing up. I missed the snow in SC this week because I was in Indianapolis on businesss. It didn’t snow much in Indy but it was cold. This morning as I drove to the airport it was -7F with -15F windchill. Glad to be home in SC tonight where it’s a balmy 30F. Yes, Put me in the column of “don’t like winter”

No, Seth. No, you're not. Let's be honest here, what you're really enjoying is barrel-assing around in the snow like Billy-O in that Range Rover of yours. That's what you're enjoying.

You're busted, dude

Back to the OP, I've been living in Singapore for the past five years and I'm being relocated back to the UK in August. I can't wait to feel the cold again. The heat and humidity here can be stifling at times.

Love living in the tropics, short pants 365 days of the year.

When I lived in the US, I loved about the first 2 weeks of the new snow, then hated it for the rest of the season.

Depends which part of the country you're in. VB (Victoria Bitter) is one that springs to mine and they like it 0.000001 degrees above freezing, otherwise it's considered 'warm'.
