Mattress Advice
Wife & I purchased a Tempurpedic Cloud Luxe Breeze about 5 years ago. Anyways, we just had a warranty claim approved because it was sagging.
Now we have a $5k credit for Tempurpedic. Problem is, before it even started sagging, bed was just too soft, and kept getting even softer. Now we're looking at getting a firmer one, possibly the Contour Elite Breeze. Two questions: 1) Anyone have this bed? It is firm, which we both like, and I assume it should become a little less firm as we break it in, which should be perfect. 2) Does anyone have their adjustable base? I'm debating adding this on for an extra $2k (the plus base, not premier, feel that is kinda a waste since the only extra feature is the massage, which we prob will never use). If you have the adjustable base, do you have a split king? The gap in the middle seems like it would be pretty annoying, but then you lose the dual functionality of the base and have to adjust both sides to the same setting. Any advice or input is much appreciated. |

We have been on a Sleepjumber Cal King for about the last 12 years.
Very happy, I get the bed firmness I want and the Mrs. does too. |

We have the contour supreme. I believe it is their firmest mattress. We have had it for 4 years now and no issues. This or second tempurpic and love them. They do sleep warm but have learn to adjust to that over the past 14 years. I did NOT get the adjustable base because it make the mattress very short when raised. I am 6'4" and it almost became a couch when fully raised.

The Contour we're looking at is actually a "breeze" mattress, which has their cooling material on it... I believe they just released this one last year. |

Not sure which mattress, but I love the adjustable base,(not split style) being able to raise the head or feet is comfortable, plus easier to put on clean sheets...raise the head and feet put on sheets then stretch it out, I love the massage with remote.

We have a Tempur Breeze on the adjustable base in queen size.
Best mattress we have ever had, stays cool for a long time, I also added their cool pillow.

I bought an adjustable base for GERD a few years ago. Both my wife and I love it so much we want to get another one for our mountain home.
We elevate our feet after long hard days running, standing all day or biking and it feels great. My wife likes that I do not snore whe the head is elevated 15-20 degrees. We actually never use the massage function. The split bed took a little getting used to but the benefits far outweigh the problems. Make sure you get good sheets. They are hard to find for split kings. We like the Dreamfit bamboo.
