I've had my 16600 since 2005. Not my first, but the earliest one that I still own. Paid $4,200 and don't plan to sell it.

I've had my GMT 16700 for just over 20 years.
It's currently at Rolex UK for it's 20 year service, so no photo. (No photo of me either as I've aged worse than the watch) |

Bought my GMT Master II in 2002, my son’s birth year and it is a keeper until I pass it on to him. Bought with black bezel but recently added the Pepsi. Added the Sub last year and I expect it to be a keeper as well.
This is from 2002 And now with the Sub Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Worked all summer in 1974 to buy a 1505. Thought the Sub was too big.
It was the first of many and still have it. |

My Sub 14060M COSC non-date from, if I remember, around 2005. When they were first produced by Rolex.

16220. Wife bought it for me on our one year anniversary in 1990. Still wear it every third week in rotation and it is still my favorite over my 16233 white dial roman numeral (that she also bought me for my 40th!).

I'll never sell my current Yacht-Master. It's the fourth one I've owned and will keep it forever. My first was in 2002 and my last in 2016.

My wife gave me a 1980s DateJust for Christmas a few years ago. This watch got me interested in watches in general. I'll probably be buried with it if I don't give it to my son.

15000 Date, which I bought in 1988 and wore it everyday until 2001, when I bought a 16610 Sub.

I got my 16610 when I was 14 in 2007. My grandfather left me some money after he died. He loved watches and I thought it would be the best way to remember him! Never going to sell it on!
