Batman or President

I don't know what to do. I am so torn between the Batman which is so cool looking and or a Presidential 18078, 18038.

Damn what to do. I have my fingers on the triggers but don't know which one to fire.

Very different watches. If it was me I'd go presidential each and every time but a DD40

I think you are trying to keep the price around the same range by looking at the references your suggesting? DD40 would be almost triple the cost of the Batman though.

I'd take the Batman for my lifestyle. Depends on the rest of your collection though.

If I were to buy a Rolex for a labor intensive job, which I've done a lot of in my day, I'd choose a stainless model such as either Explorer or either the Sub or the Sub Date.

I don't pamper my watches, but I do believe that some watches are better suited to some tasks than others.

You can always pick up another Rolex later.

Of the two you mentioned, I'd go with the BLNR.

That's my personal opinion.

Yea, I have my kids trying to way in as well and they are not very much help. I have always wanted a President and it was the first Rolex I ever wanted, but then came the Batman. I will be sure to share with all of you whatever it is I get.

I couldn't pull the trigger on the batman and went with a two-tone GMT instead. As others have said those are two totally different watches. My concern would be if the supply catches up with demand there will be a value hit. That is just my opinion though.

BigBlue is your profile name? Did you know there are at least 5 watchmaker brands that use the word BigBlue in their reference model ?
The Reigning Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Watch of Biblical Proportions is of course the Presidential DD

BLNR for sure. A yellow gold Day-Date seems like the kind of thing you wear when Sonny Crockett is chasing you down in a cigarette boat.
