Nightmare about your watch?

Have you ever had a nightmare about a watch you owned? I just had one last night about my new Sub. I still feel slightly ill about it, lol. At one point in the dream, I noticed that somehow I had two sets of HUGE dents on the bracelet. I then took it to a jeweler (for some reason) who proceeded to pry at it with a screw driver doing more damage. Eventually they broke off a piece of a silicon like circuit board with some secret number inside the case (no idea what that’s about, it’s a dream it’s not supposed to make sense) and send me back to my original AD for help. That’s about the time my alarm went off.

It was bloody terrifying.

How about you, any similar nightmares with untold watch destruction?

No, but I had a bad dream one night about someone trying to pry open my toaster with a crowbar. I think they wanted my english muffin crumbs. It was weird.

Yes! I have had a few dream where something had happened to my watch and it had got damaged then I would wake up with a heavy sort of anxiety that I had to now take my watch to an AD.... ugh.
But later in the day or a few days later I would get to my watch and see there was nothing wrong with it and realize it was just in a dream haha.

Have had similar dream about my car back in the day.

Yes, a few weeks back I had a nightmare about someone in front of me on an escalator falling over, leading to a complete domino effect with tens of people falling over, with my 5164 being completely trashed in the process while smashing against the stairs.

Honestly, no. And I almost never take my Rolex off.

Hummm not sure I’ve had a watch nightmare. But I think dreams are often repressed feelings/emotions coming to the surface. Have you been having any specific anxiety or concerns regarding watches or money or something that could be manifested into that type of imagery?

Well I dunno...none of my more "pleasant" dreams involving hot movie actresses have come true yet, so we'll have to get through those first before this one is likely to occur.

Well sure, I don't yet have my first scratch on my new sub, so I'm sure that's part of it. Thankfully though, I don't expect to have these same type of "crushed in a vise" dents that I found in my dream

Thanks for sharing your guys' stories! Keep em coming!

I occasionally have them and they're similar nightmares that you described. It's kind of like that reoccurring dream of being in college and you forgot to go to a class for a semester and you'll likely not pass the final or graduate.

That one is the worst, and one that almost 20 years after college I'm only now starting not to have very often anymore. The other school related dream I have occasionally (that's actually watch related too) is running late on the first day of class and not being able to find the classroom.

No, but sometimes I have a reoccurring dream where I’m a member of the Rolex Police and I pose as a watch technician. I pry open peoples Rolexes that are damaged, and take out the silicon circuit boards to collect metrics on who wears their Rolexes to the gym, shower, pool and other “is it safe” activities. Strange...

Ok, so, some more details I now remember. For some reason the AD was in Sacramento, and I was getting ready to drive there. I have no idea what that's about...my AD is in Seattle.

But before I set off, my alarm woke me up. So I never got to find out what the AD was going to do about it. Maybe I'll find out tonight!
