Real Hulk Pricing

Big fan of the Hulk, but I have retailer interested in buying mine back. Sort of been deep in Omega territory as of late and really have not used it. Its been worn, but it is in excellent shape pretty much with the box and all the goodies. Its five years old I think. But the same guy I bought it from is interested--the question is--what is fair price to land at?

There seems to be a lot of interest in the Hulk these days and I had previously considered selling and decided against it. But I am open to letting it go at this point. I know we have a sell section here, but am not interested in a sky high price that not realistic and I understand the guy is only buying to resell.

Thoughts?

If you do not want to wear it any longer then sell it.

Yeah, no argument there--but there has been a lot of chatter about the prices on these ticking up a bit and I was hoping to get a bit of input as to what was reasonable to expect in regards to the same based upon current market conditions. I figured originally, maybe 7.5K or 8k, but seems like I have seen a few listed higher--whether they are actually selling at higher prices--I have no idea but I figured there be some big brains here that might be able to weigh in with some realistic numbers expectation wise.

Thanks--

i see no reason why you cant sell it for msrp or close to it depending on condition. however being 5 years old if it hasnt been serviced id knock that price down by at least 600-750 if i were a buyer.

I’d list it at current MSRP or best offer, and see what the market is willing to pay.

Prices are rising on asks, but hardly on bids with dealers so I guess retail is a fair price for that, doubt a reseller will get much more even privately.

I wouldn't sell it right now unless you need the money.

I wouldn’t waste your time selling it. I also wouldn’t sell to your local guy as you will get less. Sell it to a trusted seller on here. Text or email takuya (Thanh). He pays top dollar. I would guess by the available models flr sale you could expect 8-8500 from a trusted seller

When you have a C55 Baron, you always need money. Particularly when you combine it w flying a C340 as well.

Yeah, I agree about selling to a Trusted Seller. DavidSW has always offered me a fair price when I decide to unload a piece... and it’s totally headache-free. He always sends me the shipping label, and everything is insured by him.

I feel you, brother.

But...take it from someone who's made this mistake. More than once, I'm ashamed to say.

At least you may want to wait until Basel World to see if there's any announcements? Either way, good luck!

Asking current MSRP is a good starting point and see what offers you get from potential buyers. You might get close to current MSRP if the condition is really good. Post really clear photos of every angle and whatever is included like box and paperworks.

But, if you don’t need the cash why sell it now? Just keep the watch, you might regret selling it later on.

I would agree with previous posts current RRP would be fair. I recently sold my 2 year old LVC for this and because of the price increase in the Uk I actually made a small profit. What I would say unless your sure about letting it go and don’t need the funds just keep it, you say your a big fan so there is a strong possibility you’ll regret it.
