But of you use paypal you are 100% protected. Why not buy it then? Let paypal/ebay pay for some of these frauds, that may be the best way to get ebay to get on the ball!

I dont know why they would, but countless people do-they see the opportunity to save some money and greed gets the better of their judgement.it is human nature, but it is our duty to help out our fellow man when we see that he is acting foolishly, whether he likes it or not.

I reported it. If it sells someone should contact the buyer and alert them of the scam.

Great work Steve! The one thing I do like about Ebay's revised feedback is you won't get nailed with a negative from this lowlife.

Quick question..The watch sold for $6,211...was that you who put in a top bid?
Also, do you think the Ebay seller is an associate of York time? |

Talk about blatant disregard. Scammers like this need to "be hung up high by piano wire wrapped around you know whats"...

thanks orchi,
I collect very rare matsumoku guitars-they made a line called the skylark for one year 1981' alone and it consisted of three models.that one there was the middle model-and it completed my collection of all three.I got it for a steal. I told the seller I would him in pheonix and pay cash,I have yet to hear a peep from them!!! I think the jig is up!! by the way,I was contacted by york time and told that they still in fact own the watches that this guy was supposedly selling,so there was zero chance that I was disrupting an actual auction.I always make certain before I take any extreme actions as this... |

Great job Steve!
Maybe one of us should create a unique Ebay account Username to put in non-believable bids that would make these Scammers embarrased to dispute. Any proposals?

the only problem is that the name of the bidders doesnt show up until after the auction is over....but it would work after the fact..
