Just bought my first boat

So I finally got my first boat and I went vintage... 1967 fully restored.
My GMT makes a couple brief appearances in the video as well.
Any of you guys ever have experience with these old boats?

Congrats!

I almost bought a boat just like that from a colleague in 1989. Went with a BassTracker instead. You’ll have a blast with it.

Congrats.

Reminds me of my younger days.

A little wet sanding with 1,000 - 1,500 grit and that pearl coat will sparkle.

From my experience Two good days owning a boat
Day you purchase
Day you sell everything in between is a disappointment. Although English weather does not help .

Thanks everyone! I pick her up today and I’ll be heading straight to the boat ramps to test her out.
I don’t know how many of you are into cars but the guy I’m buying it from says he has an Enzo Ferrari and he’s going to show it to me along with his collection when I go to get the boat. I’ll be sure to get a video of that too!

Funny you mention it, the yachtmaster 16622 was my first Rolex and I’d still have it if the one I bought hadn’t had to be returned due to poor condition from the seller.
I planned on getting another 16622 but stumbled across the GMT and the rest is history.

My thoughts: The two best days of a boat owner's life are the day he buys it and the day he sells it.
