The 15300 is much better proportioned.

The 15300 has a better bezel to dial ratio. The 15400 wears big. I also like how the 15300 has the AP logo as the 12 marker.

I don't know I think the 300 is a little bit bezel heavy, 41 a little dial heavy, so TBH I think a 40mm would be the Goldilocks of this line.

I guess that's a more accurate description. I was surprised that the 15300 did not fit as well as I'd hoped, considering that it's 39 mm. But I never read about this, so I wonder if I'm the only one...

Yeah, we are on the same page! The 15300 fits borderline okay on my wrist. I’m thinking the 15450 would be a nice fit...

15300 or 15202 > 15400

The prices for 15300s though... starting to change the conversation.

Much less of them on the market and far few in near mint or mint condition. Likely to get worse, glad I got my 15300 when I did.

AP are kind of genius for making the 15202 the "goldilocks" size and proportion. From their standpoint it makes sense not to have a standard RO in the same size as the Jumbo. Anyone who finds the 15400 too large and the 15450 too small (and can't find a 15300) gets funneled into the 15202.

I always thought it was kind of funny that they made the 15300 the same size as the Jumbo.

15400 is doable

15450 is unisex watch - good choice if you plan to share with your wife or gf
